Overview & Background
To vividly showcase their cutting-edge lunar lander and the surrounding moonscape, iSpace-US collaborated with Player Epic and Nexrage Studios to develop an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) experience tailored for the Apple Vision Pro. This project, crafted with Unity and enhanced through detailed Blender modeling, was designed to serve as a centerpiece at high-profile events, providing attendees an unparalleled close-up encounter with the iSpace-US lander and its deployed satellites.
The Challenge
Creating an engaging and technically advanced VR and AR experience for an event setting involved overcoming several significant challenges: Developing ultra-realistic 3D models of the lunar lander and satellites using Blender, ensuring they were meticulously detailed and optimized for real-time interaction in Unity. Crafting a believable lunar landscape that attendees could explore virtually, complete with ambient sounds and interactive elements to simulate walking on the Moon.
